Accounts and verification

The SAMA Money API opens in two steps: a sandbox to build, then live mode once your account is approved.

1. Sign up on the console: once your email address is confirmed, your test key is available and you can test with no real money.
2. Live request: “go live” in the console. You follow the steps shown and upload the supporting documents requested.
3. Review by the SAMA Money team: the decision appears in the console.
4. Account approved: live keys are activated, in addition to your test keys.

Companies, associations, public bodies and traders. The documents to provide are shown in the console when you make the request, and you upload them from the console. We never ask for your password or for a customer’s secret code.

• Debit a customer without their personal confirmation (secret code in the app or through #600#): no route receives a customer’s secret code.
• Accept real money with a test key: the sandbox is sealed.

How long until I get live keys? The delay depends on how complete your file is; the decision is visible in the console.

Can I test before being approved? Yes: the sandbox is open once your email address is confirmed and stays open after approval.

Is the sandbox paid? No: the sandbox and test keys are free. Live fees are detailed in the pricing.
